Diferenciar los dos conceptos de soledad. Existen dos connotaciones muy distintas aplicables al concepto soledad. La soledad entendida desde un aspecto negativo, es decir, cuando uno no está contento de estar solo y por tanto se encuentra realmente solo en la vida, aislado. O la soledad entendida de manera positiva, cuando uno está feliz de estar solo, y por tanto no se siente solo. Son personas que eligen qué momentos desea vivir solo y cuáles quiere compartir con sus seres queridos o conocidos. No hay nada malo en la soledad, estar solo con uno mismo, puede ser útil y agradable.

Trabaja en mejorar tu situación y sé feliz. Por lo general, cuando dedicamos la mayor parte de nuestro tiempo a otras personas, tendemos a descuidarnos a nosotros mismos. Si estás pasando por un período de soledad, aprovéchate de la situación y haz aquello que deseabas hacer por ti mismo. Ésta es una oportunidad maravillosa que podría hacerte muy feliz.

Apúntate a un gimnasio. Hacer ejercicio y cuidar nuestro cuerpo suele ser lo primero que se abandona cuando se empieza a trabajar o una relación. Si vas a pasar menos tiempo con otras personas de lo normal, prueba a utilizar ese tiempo para hacer ejercicio. Si haces ejercicio en un gimnasio, puede que incluso conozcas a amigos nuevos o a una persona especial.

Aprende una nueva habilidad. Si quieres aprovechar al máximo este tiempo y sentirte bien, una buena opción es aprender una nueva habilidad. Puedes aprender a tocar un instrumento, aprender a dibujar, o aprender a bailar. Aprender estos temas con los demás puede ayudarte a conocer gente nueva, pero también te dará una salida creativa para tus sentimientos. Convierte tu soledad en algo hermoso.

Haz algo grande. A menudo las personas solemos tener algo grande en mente que queremos realizar y mil excusas para no hacerlo. ¿Alguna vez has querido escribir un libro?, ¿hacer una película?, ¿hacer un gran viaje?... Utiliza esta soledad como excusa para hacer algo grande. ¿Quién sabe?, tal vez se convertirá en algo que ayuda a otros a sobrellevar su soledad ...
